Will the 50th Anniversary fireworks sill take place on Christmas Party nights Magic Kingdom? We will not have Christmas party tickets and wanted to make sure we didn't miss the new Enchantment Fireworks. Hoping they do both fireworks those nights!

    Hi there, Jennifer!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question!

I'm so excited to hEAR you'll be visiting not only during the holiday season but during Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary! All four theme parks will be joining in on the celebrations - it's going to be a wonderful time to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth!

The World's Most Magical Celebration begins October 1 and will last for 18 months. There will be amazing new offerings for Guests to enjoy, including Beacons of Magic, the Fab 50 Character Collection, two new Nighttime Spectaculars (Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom Park and Harmonius at Epcot), Disney Kite Tails (Animal Kingdom Park), and an all-new attraction at Epcot - Remy's Ratatouille Adventure!

This holiday season, Guests can celebrate by attending Disney Very Merriest After Hours in Magic Kingdom Park, a separately ticketed event held on select evenings from August 8 - December 21. The event will feature Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show, Club Tinsel Dance Party, and many other festive offerings included with admission.

If you'll be visiting Magic Kingdom Park on the same date as an After Hours event, there's no need to worry about missing the Disney Enchantment Nighttime Spectacular! Day guests will be able to enjoy the fireworks before the park officially closes for the evening. At the regularly scheduled park closing time (after that evening's showing of Disney Enchantment), Cast Members will be positioned throughout the park to slowly filter out day guests. Disney Very Merriest After Hours guests will then need to show their event wristbands to access certain areas of the park and to enter the queue lines of any attractions. (Event ticketholders will be admitted to Magic Kingdom Park as early as 7:00 pm on the evening of the After Hours event, and will be able to enjoy TWO fireworks shows!)

I hope you have an amazing December visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Please come back and visit us here at planDisney for tips and advice to add a bit of extra magic to your Disney vacation!
