This is our 35th Anniversary celebration. We went to Disney for our Honeymoon 35 and . Back stayed in the Tree House Villas and Disney gave us a bottle of champagne and a rose to celebrate our first evening. Do they do this anymore?

    Hi Janis!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Celebrating an anniversary, or any special occasion at the Walt Disney World Resort is bound to be special. While there isn’t any guaranteed extra magic that comes with visiting during a special occasion, you never know what might happen when visiting the Walt Disney World Resort!

There are a few things you should do, in case some of Tinker Bell’s pixie dust finds its way to you. Make sure that your special anniversary celebration is noted on your resort reservation, as well as all Advance Dining Reservations. When you check-in to your resort, they should have complimentary “Happy Anniversary” buttons for you. If they don’t, be sure to ask. These can be personalized with your name and I recommend you wear them during your stay.  Cast Members are great about noticing these special buttons, and you are bound to receive many well wishes from Cast Members and even other Guests.

My husband and I celebrated an anniversary at Walt Disney World, and I enjoyed all the “Happy Anniversary!” attention we received. We also had a few Cast Members ask us for marriage advice. If you are wearing your buttons, you never know what other magical surprise and delights might come your way!

Wishing a very special, “Happy 35th Anniversary” to you!
