Hi Catherine,
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.
I think that there are a few experiences at Walt Disney World that you will really enjoy considering your interest in Disney animation. First, you should definitely visit
The Magic of Disney Animation attraction at Disney's Hollywood Studios. At this attraction, you can first see a movie about the process of Disney animation. Then, you can attend the Animation Academy, where a Disney artist will guide you through drawing a Disney character, which you get to try yourself!
You can also attend an Animation Academy at DisneyQuest in Downtown Disney, where you can draw a Disney character under the guidance of a cast member.
You also might want to consider the
Dine with an Imagineer opportunity. When you Dine with an Imagineer, you and other guests can enjoy lunch or dinner while learning unique insights from an Imagineer. While the Imagineer is not necessarily an animator, it seems like this experience might be interesting to you as you can gain insights on how the Disney Parks and Resorts came to be. I'm sure that you could ask the Imagineer questions about animation and they would do their best to answer.
I hope that this gives you some ideas, Catherine. Have a great trip, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
