Do the animals at Animal Lodge make a lot of noise at night (ie do they keep you awake at night)

Hi, Jane! That is a great question! Although your resort room at the Animal Kingdom Lodge (AKL) is usually surrounded by animals during the day, most of the animals are fed (and thus encouraged) away from the guests' rooms at night. There are a few (quiet) ones that I've seen sleeping under my window at night, but it's actually kind of sweet.

I did have a friend -- who was staying down the hall from me at AKL -- tell me that she heard the water buffalo "bellowing" when she was getting ready for dinner one evening.  However, she didn't say that he bothered her any more that week that we were there. I guess that was just his way of calling for "room service!"

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
