Hi Ginger, Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel!
The Animal Kingdom Lodge
(HERE) is incredibly spectacular. Due to the location, you will have to travel by bus to get to all of the Theme Parks. However, without a rental car, you will have to travel by bus to at least one or two of the Parks from every Resort on property . For example, the Contemporary Resort is a short monorail ride from the Magic Kingdom and Epcot...but is a bus ride to Hollywood Studios and the Animal Kingdom. If close proximity to as many Parks as possible is your priority, then you'll want to choose one of the monorail Resorts.
However, if you are looking for a truly unique experience, then I highly recommend the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Where else in America can you stay in a room that overlooks a Savanna where giraffe and zebra roam? There's something pretty amazing about waking up and walking out on your balcony to be greeted by African animals. The lobby of the lodge is stunning, and there are numerous cultural activities that you can participate in. From stories around a campfire, to African drum lessons and swimming in the zero-entry pool...there is something for everyone. In addition,
BOMA,
JIKO and
SANAA are all wonderful restaurants that are located at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.
We've stayed at numerous Disney World Resorts and are so happy that we have experienced the Animal Kingdom Lodge. It truly is incredible.
I hope this helps and that you have a magical vacation.
