Animal Kingdom Resort 1/8-1/15/11 It will be myself, DH, DD(10), DD(5 1/2), and DD(51/2 months). What are the best times of the week to visit each park. I know certain parks are crowded on certain days but cant find anything online. Thank you!

    Hi Karen!

The dates of your vacation are very similar to my own, therefore I can clue you in on some of the research that I've done recently.

I would recommend the following parks for each day:

    Saturday - Animal Kingdom
    Sunday - Magic Kingdom
    Monday - Epcot
    Tuesday - Magic Kingdom
    Wednesday - Hollywood Studios
    Thursday - Epcot
    Friday - Hollywood Studios
    Saturday - Animal Kingdom

The above recommendations avoid the parks with Extra Magic Hours. In January, if you are early morning risers or like to stay up late, it may be a good idea to try an EMH so that you are increasing your touring day. Parks close earlier in the off-season.

If your first and last day are travel days, then I would substitute Animal Kingdom on Friday rather than a second time at Hollywood Studios. If you have park hoppers, you may want to park hop to the park with evening Extra Magic Hours or to the park offering evening entertainment such as Epcot's Illuminations.

Wising you a wonderful vacation at Walt Disney World!
