Does animal kingdom have a place were I can take my luggage

Good afternoon, Lesley! My name is Allison, and I am a Wilderness Explorer in Tribe 54, Sweat Lodge 12. I see you're in need of some assistance today, and I'm thrilled to help answer your question!

Disney's Animal Kingdom Park is my favorite place to walk on the wild side, and I'm so excited to hear that you'll be visiting so soon! There is so much to explore throughout the park, and as any good Wilderness Explorer knows, it's best to travel light on your adventures. While Walt Disney World theme parks cannot store large suitcases for you, a locker rental might work if you're traveling with backpacks or other small bags. Unfortunately, you'll only find jumbo-sized lockers (big enough to fit a carry-on suitcase) at Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT. Over at Animal Kingdom, the largest locker available measures 15.5" x 13" x 17", which I suspect may be too small for your needs.

I know this probably wasn't the answer you were hoping for, Lesley, but I do have another suggestion. If you're staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, consider checking your bags with Bell Services instead. If you're visiting Animal Kingdom on your first day in Disney World, stop by your resort first and drop off your luggage before hitting the trails. You can pick it up later when your room is ready! If your Animal Kingdom adventure is on check-out day, drop off your luggage at Bell Services in the morning and pick it up whenever you're ready. This is a particularly good option if you'll be using Disney buses to get to the park, since luggage isn't permitted on any form of Disney transportation

Once you've lightened your load, you'll be free to discover all the thrills, interesting wildlife, and delicious food Animal Kingdom has to offer! Lesley, I see that you hail from The Golden State, so you may be familiar with the iconic churros at Disneyland Park. I recently visited Disneyland with 17 of my besties, and I had the chance to try one for the very first time. Months later, I'm still dreaming about it! So if you're looking for some cinnamon-sugar goodness while you're at Animal Kingdom, be sure to stop by my family's favorite hidden gem, Nomad Lounge. You'll need to use your My Disney Experience app to join the walk-up waitlist, but I promise the churros are worth the wait!

I hope this information is helpful, Lesley, and that you're as wild for Animal Kingdom as I am! If you have any other planning questions, you know where to find me right here at planDisney!

    Adventure is out there,

    Allison
