Is the Animal Kingdom a park that a 4 year old boy would enjoy? Will he be able to be out of the stroller and doing stuff?

Hi Erin!  My four year old grandson loves the Animal Kingdom park. Although I strongly suggest a stroller for his use in this park as it is quite large there are many places where he can get out and visit with animals or listen to entertainers or drum on drums!

Some of his favorite things to do...besides stay for hours at the drums near Africa....is the Kilimanjaro Safaris and the Festival of the Lion King show.  It's Tough to Be a Bug is ok but for the younger children I suggest you sit in the back and on the left side as the big scary bug comes out in front on the right.

We all like to take the Pangani Forest Exploration Trail and the Maharajah Jungle Trek and kids can get out and visit and watch the animals at many places.  The other great spot is the Rafiki's Planet Watch.  You take a train and visit the petting farm and many exhibits inside. The last two times my grandson was able to see a centipede and was also able to pet a baby crocodile which was very exciting.

Don't forget to catch Mickey's Jungle Jammin Parade too while you are there!
