Can we make it Animal Kingdom and the Magic Kingdom in one day? I don't think we need to see everything in the Magic Kingdom. I am taking my 3 year old and my 18 month old with me. Thank you

Yikes, two big parks in one day!  Nothing is impossible but I never suggest you split a visit to the Magic Kingdom with any other park.  Although you might not want to do many attractions there is so much more to see and experience in this park for all ages that to cut it to a half day is really tough.  There are several parades each day and great entertainment in from of the castle. The fireworks at night are some of the best in any of the Disney parks.

Animal Kingdom is a very large park to get around. If it is during the hotter months you would not want to rush through just from the heat stand point.  Some of the best attractions are the shows that are at set times such as the Lion King and Nemo.  Another fun place to take younger children in this park is Rafiki's Planet Watch where they can actually get up close to animals such as sheep and goats.

The Animal Kingdom park generally will close before the Magic Kingdom.  If you do plan on trying to do both in one day then I would suggest you start at the Animal Kingdom and end at the Magic Kingdom. But again I don't think this would give you a good taste of either park.  For me a full day at the Magic Kingdom is a must and at least 3/4 of a day at Animal Kingdom.
