Does the Animal Kingdom Lodge now have movies under the stars too (like the Wilderness Lodge)? That activity is listed on the AKL website.

    Hi Allison,

I'm sorry to say that they don't currently have an outdoor movie playing at night like Fort Wilderness  does.  My family is staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge in a few months and we plan on taking the bus to the Magic Kingdom and then the boat launch to the Fort Wilderness campground to experience Chip and Dale's Sing-a-long and Movie.

I noticed it does list "Movies under the Stars" as a recreational activity for guests staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.  I believe it is referring to the fact that as a guest of Animal Kingdom Lodge you can attend an outdoor movie at some select resorts.

It seems that about half of the resorts have some type of outdoor screen that shows movies at night.  We have seen them at the Contemporary, the Grand Floridian, the Yacht and Beach club, and Saratoga Springs.  I believe the All Star resorts, Wilderness Lodge, and the Old Key West resort also have some type of outdoor movie screening.

    Have a magical trip
