    Does the Animal Kingdom Lodge, Kidani Village, have the refillable shampoo and conditioner bottles that they started installing in the hotels? I am coming in a couple weeks and would rather not have to pack shampoo and conditioner if I don't have to :)

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. I just returned home from a wonderful stay at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. Pro tip: there are SO many Hidden Mickeys at this resort (pssssst: look at the carpet). Even though I’d heard how relaxing it is to sit on the balcony with a cup of coffee and just take in the scenery, I was not prepared for how completely peaceful and lovely this resort is. I just know you are going to love it!

    Something else you’re going to love? The toiletries! At Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, you’ll find individual travel-sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, and bars of facial soap and body soap. The products are H2O+ brand in the Sea Salt and Sea Marine scent, which is a really refreshing and not-too-strong eucalyptus and aloe blend. If you find you’re running low on anything, you’re welcome to call Mousekeeping and request supply replenishment. Additionally, the resort gift shop carries a solid assortment of toiletry and pharmacy items – on my recent trip, I had a really yucky cough, so I snuck downstairs for some cough drops so I wouldn’t wake my roomie.

    Alexandra, enjoy your stay at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. There are so many fantastic recreation options at this resort, and the dining is just phenomenal. I highly recommend a visit to Sanaa for the Indian-Style Bread Service. When I was there last, my server recommended I pair it with their house Mango Margarita, and it really was a delicious pairing!
