Does the Animal Kingdom Lodge still do free restaurant tours?

    Greetings, Ethan!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We're happy to hEAR from you and help you with another great Walt Disney World Resort planning question.

Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is easily one of my favorite resorts. It's remarkably stunning and tranquil. I often say staying there is like a vacation within your vacation. I could gaze at the animals all day and there is so much to do at the resort, sometimes I don't even want to leave to visit the parks. As of now, yes, the Culinary Tour of Jiko - The Cooking Place and Boma - Flavors of Africa is still available. Guests are encouraged to meet in the lobby near Jiko - The Cooking Place prior to the 4:15 p.m. start time.

I think you'll find the tour very interesting, but if you're looking for more resort recreation during your stay, I also recommend the Starlight Safari. It's fascinating to see how active the animals are at night and to view them through the night-vision goggles. Be sure to also check out the resort recreation guide for more events and activities available during your stay.

Have a magical vacation, Ethan, and please let us know if there is anything else we are able to assist you with.
