At Animal Kingdom Lodge it is more expensive for the Arusha View versus the Savannah view yet the mom panel answered that they would take Savanna view 100 times out of 100. What is the actual difference? thanks.

Hi Hope. Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of the most magical properties at Walt Disney World. The unique restaurants, the zero entry pool and,of course, the safari animals right outside your window are so special.

There are three different types of Savannah View rooms- Uzima, Arusha, and Sunset- named after the three savannahs that make up the grounds of Animal Kingdom Lodge. Safari animals roam in front of all these rooms. Personally I believe you would be happy with any one of these categories of Savannah View rooms. The Arusha rooms overlook the main savannah that you also see from the lobby. There are several public viewing stations that offer the Arusha view.

If you want to try a Signature Dinning Experience I highly recommend Jiko-The Cooking Place. The food and decor are fabulous.
