    Does the Animal Kingdom Lodge have day only availability/rates for the room/Villa? We'll be staying there the night before, visit the Animal Kingdom park but have a very late flight out and would like to shower and have dinner before heading out.

    Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel for assistance planning your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

    Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is absolutely beautiful and you are going to have such an incredible time together! Unfortunately, day rates are not available, as "Mousekeeping" (housekeeping) would have to thoroughly clean the room again for another family to check-in. Additionally, check in time is at 4:00 pm, and the room wouldn't be ready for a new party. If you want the room, you would have to book an additional night. I do have some good news for you though! As a guest at any Disney Resort hotel, you are eligible to use the amenities until midnight on the day of your departure. The Survival of the Fittest Health Club, which is located near the Samawati Springs Pool at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani Village, has a shower and changing room available inside of the restroom. This restroom is located outside of the health club, but in the same building. You would simply need to use your MagicBand to access this facility. If you do not have your own transportation available, the resort has an internal shuttle which brings guests back and forth between the Animal Kingdom Lodge - Jambo House and Kidani Village. Once you are all showered and refreshed, I recommend that you enjoy a delicious dinner at Boma - Flavors of Africa. This restaurant is considered a "must do" for our family.
