Does Animal Kingdom Lodge still have bunk bed rooms?

Welcome to planDisney, George and thanks for stopping by with your question!

George, one of the reasons I love staying in the Magic is the plethora of accommodations available in the Disney Resorts Collection. From King (size) and Queen (size) beds fit for royalty to beds that transform into a table, pull down from a wall and even bunk beds, there really is something for every Prince, Princess and Mouseketeer!

George with the most recent refurbishment at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, there are no longer rooms with bunk beds. While this likely isn't the news you were hoping for, if bunk beds are truly the wish your heart makes, you can find this option at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and in the Treehouse Villas at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. Both of these are stand alone units and in addition to the bunk beds offer full kitchens.

George, I hope this information is useful as you are planning for your next visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth. While bunk beds are extinct at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, I can tell that FUN is alive and well. When my family stayed at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas- Kidani Village last August, whether morning, noon or night, I never tired of seeing animals on the savanna.

Best wishes as you search for accommodations that fit as perfectly as Cinderella's glass slipper. Please come see us here again at planDisney with any other questions.
