    I will be going to Animal Kingdom with my husband and my dad next week and considering signing up for the Spotlight Safari that's at the lodge at night. How much different is the Spotlight Safari from the Kilimanjaro Safari? Would you attend both?

    You are going to have a fantastic time exploring Walt Disney World Resort with your family next week. Did you see that Disney's Animal Kingdom is celebrating the 25th anniversary of "The Lion King" this summer? You will be able to join the celebration with special entertainment, tasty treats and more when you visit!

    The incredible animals at both Disney's Animal Kingdom and Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge are such a treat for Guests to enjoy. Kilimanjaro Safaris is one of my favorite attractions at Disney's Animal Kingdom and is definitely on our "must-do" list when we visit the theme park. I think you are considering adding the Starlight Safari at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge to your vacation itinerary, which is a completely unique experience from Kilimanjaro Safaris. The savannas at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge are completely separate from the African savanna you will explore on Kilimanjaro Safari and both of these areas have separate groups of animals you will enjoy during each safari. Plus, the Starlight Safari at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is at night, so you will use a night vision device to see the animals as you travel across the savanna. So considering the significant differences between these two experiences, I would definitely recommend that you enjoy both adventures during your vacation!
