Hello! So I am going to animal kingdom and I forgot to bring a Stiller for my one year old. Does anyone know the rates of strollers there? And are they comfortable for baby to sleep in for nap time? TIA

    Hi there, Valeria!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I am so excited to hEAR you are headed to one of my family’s favorite theme parks – Disney’s Animal Kingdom!  In fact, on our very first trip to Walt Disney World Resort, we found ourselves there more often than any of the other theme parks!  And even now that my boys are older, we love it even more!

Traveling with little ones requires so much thought and preparation and it’s always a bit frustrating when you realize you forgot something – especially something that makes your day go easier!  You definitely do not want to carry around a one-year old all day through the theme park, so thankfully there are strollers available to rent at all four theme parks.  While pricing is always subject to change, currently a single stroller rental is $15 for a one-day rental and $13 per day for a multi-day rental.  The strollers available are made of molded plastic and do provide some shade during the hot days with a sunshade on it.  My boys were never fond of napping in a stroller other than their own, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that your little Mouseketeer won’t find the stroller perfectly acceptable to nap in – especially during a long, tiring day!  While I cannot provide you with an exact photo of one, you can do a quick internet search and I am sure many photos of the strollers available to rent will pop up!

An alternative you may want to consider is heading back to your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel during the day to ensure your little one gets a nap and then heading back to the theme parks after naptime!  This gives everyone an opportunity to unwind and relax before heading back out again!

Wishing you a magical and memorable vacation with your little one!  And remember that even if they don’t remember it, you will certainly remember these special memories you make!
