    Animal Kingdom closes 3:30 on May 24th. I was planning on heading over to Disney Springs at that point, but I know Disney Spring bus service normally starts at 4pm from parks. Do you suppose that this bus route will start earlier on this day? Thanks!

    Hi Kim!

    Guests traveling to the great Animal Kingdom Theme Park on May 24 will find a very early closing of 3:30pm. Although this might be an inconvenience for this day they will need to just wait a couple more days until May 27th when Pandora-The World of Avatar opens to the public. This is a new and absolutely amazing new area of the park adding two new attractions and unbelievable sites and scenes. The Disney imagineers have thought of every detail and you won't be disappointed in their efforts. I was fortunate to view and experience all of this a week ago and I can't wait to take my own family back. The early closing is related to this new opening.

    Disney has not been able to confirm if buses to Disney Springs will begin early that day but there is an excellent possibility they will. If you find they are not then simply hop on a resort bus and transfer to the Disney Springs bus once you get to that resort. I suggest you use the Animal KIngdom Lodge bus since the ride there would be very short and then wait for the Disney Springs bus which definitely will be running. There will be plenty of cast members located in the bus area who can assist you that day whether the Disney Springs bus will be running and if so where to catch it.

    Once you reach Disney Springs enjoy all of the great dining and entertainment possibilities. My family loves Blaze Pizza and I strongly urge you to stop in at Sprinkles Cupcakes for dessert! Enjoy!
