Hi Letty!
Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.
For me, Disney's Animal Kingdom is exploration and adventure on an awe-inspiring scale. Yes, the park is a celebration of nature and wildlife, and features amazing animal encounters. I love wandering along Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail to see western lowland gorillas at play and meandering through Maharajah Jungle Trek to marvel at Asian tigers. There are so many more species I find fascinating to experience. Yes, ride attractions like Kilimanjaro Safaris make animal encounters amidst the African savanna the centerpiece of the experience.
And there is so much more. At Disney's Animal Kingdom, you can take on the thrills, take in the music and dance, and taste the world.
Take on the thrills. You can conquer your Yeti fears at Expedition Everest, escape extinction at DINOSAUR, tour the heart of Asia on Kali River Rapids, and
fly high at the out-of-this world Avatar Flight of Passage.
Now for the tastes. You can savor some of the most amazing food experiences. I think
Tiffins is one of the best Walt Disney World restaurants, and Satu'li Canteen is a favorite, too.
Now take in the music and dance. You can take your seat for some of the best staged entertainment with Finding Nemo - The Musical and Festival of the Lion King.
Disney's Animal Kingdom is, I think, one of the most beautifully imagined theme park experiences featuring ride attractions, live performances, shows, village street entertainers, and delicious foods. It's a celebration of worlds — both our own and Pandora – The World of Avatar.
Enjoy your Disney!
Jerry
