Hi Angelo! I think I read that you are your family's designated photographer. I want to bring my DSLR to the parks but what do you do with it when you go on the rides? We are bringing our stroller but Im not sure I want to leave my camera. Thanks!

    Hi there Lauren!

I think some people might call me the family photographer... My wife and kids like to call me the "Paparazzi" because I'm constantly snapping pictures of them. I can't help it.. It's been instilled on me from my dad, he is the real pro... Now, let me tell you about a ride on Space Mountain last year where my dad was sitting behind me and as we were going what felt like "a hundred miles an hour", I turned around and saw my dad snapping pictures with HIS pro style DSLR! I promptly told him to put it away...

That just tells you how somewhat tame some of the rides are. Lately, I've just been carrying my DSLR in a small pouch carry bag which fits on all of the roller coaster style rides. Disney does a great job of allowing you to carry a small bag which fits under your legs or in a designated pouch inside the ride vehicle.

Definitely, try not to leave anything very valuable in your stroller. I know I've done it in the past but, it's a trust issue. I trust the guests at Walt Disney World but sooner or later someone may walk away with your stuff whether they mean to or not. Lot's of strollers at WDW look the same.

Here's a small tip, if you have one, make sure to bring a large flash because some of the indoor areas around Walt Disney World are somewhat dimly lit. You don't want to take a picture of Mickey and the kids and just get a nice shot of a shadow...

Thanks so much for sending me your question! If you need anything just let us know, the Moms Panel is always here to help! I hope you and your family have a Magical Time at the Walt Disney World Resort!
