    Hi Angelo! Can you tell me if building 85 at POR is standard or preferred. I would like to request a top floor corner room there and need to know if I should upgrade to a preferred room. Also, is the bus stop in front of 85 the last stop or the first?

    Hi Jaynee!

    I really like the buildings at Port Orleans Riverside! The Mansion Buildings in Magnolia Bend remind me of Savannah, Georgia or Charleston, SC. If you are intent on staying in building 85, you will not have to upgrade to a "preferred room" as building 85 does not have them there. The preferred rooms are those that are closest to the main lobby of the resort. The rooms are listed by there location depending on the view and bed preference. If you would like to stay in a King size suite, that should be your first option and then ask for an upper room with a river view. If you do not mind the bed preference then go with a river view, corner location in building 85. When you make your resort reservations, they will make every effort to accommodate your requests.

    The bus transportation inside the resort is efficient yet sometime can be kind of confusing. The buses pick up at the South Depot in the mornings and make their way around the resort clockwise. Certain buses may depart directly from the South Depot to the theme parks if it is a very busy time of the year. If you are there during the holidays or summer time, it may be a good idea to walk over to that depot to pick up the bus. On the return trip from the theme parks, the East depot is the last stop and first from Downtown Disney. Please make sure to check with cast members at concierge to verify the most recent information.
