Hi Andrea, thanks for the room tip:) Our kids eat lots of fruits- will the studio has paring knife/peeler available? What other utensils are provided? Where do we throw up garbage daily? Do we need to pack garbage bags? Thank you so much!

    Hi again, Jenny!

The studios in Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort do not come equipped with a paring knife/peeler, however, you might be able to call Housekeeping and ask to have one delivered to your room. The 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom villas have them in their kitchens, so the items are surely already on hand in Housekeeping. (We've called Housekeeping for such items, and they've always been delivered with a smile...another reason why we love Bay Lake Tower!)

For trash, there is a very convenient room with trash containers located on each floor of Bay Lake Tower, so putting the trash out of your room will be quick and painless. There are some bags tucked into the containers in your room, which will be refreshed whenever Housekeeping is scheduled to tend to your room as well. If you think that you'd like to dispose of more than just the usual quantity, stashing a small bag or two into your suitcase surely couldn't hurt. (Again, you can call Housekeeping if you need more trash bags as well. No worries!)

As far as the contents in the kitchenette, there are great photos of this area on the unofficial site AllEars.net. Just search "Bay Lake Tower" and click on the photos of the kitchen and pantry. There, you'll see that you get four glasses, four mugs, paper plates, paper bowls and plastic ware. There will also be paper towels, but no napkins. (I always take too many napkins while dining at Quick Service locations anyway, so I simply bring them back to our studio.)

My daughter loves fruit as well, so we picked up a container or two of freshly-sliced fruit at Contempo Cafe on several occasions, keeping them in our fridge for a light snack or breakfast, when paired with a muffin or other breakfast item.

Keep sending questions my way, Jenny; I love to help! :-)
