Hi Andrea, thanks for answering my question. As a follow up, we're visiting WDW in Oct 2014. We haven't decided on a resort but I'm leaning towards the Cabins at FW or another mod. I like the idea of a movie under the stars which resorts offer them?

    Glad you're back, Julie!

Practically all of the resorts at Walt Disney World offer Movies Under the Stars, weather permitting, so you'll have plenty of options from which to choose.

The only WDW Resorts which do not offer Movies Under the Stars are Disney's Yacht Club (Guests can simply watch the movie at Disney's Beach Club Resort next door), Walt Disney World Swan Hotel and Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel. Guests staying at The Treehouse Villas at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa can enjoy Movies Under the Stars at SS's High Rock Spring Pool. We'd bring our resort-refillable mugs, bring a snack (or let each child purchase a favorite from a nearby Quick Service restaurant or resort shop), bundle up under a blanket and relax on nearby lounge chairs. (One night, we even watched from the warmth of the heated pool; that was heavenly!)

Depending on the location of Movies Under the Stars at your resort, you might find lawn areas for lounging while viewing or other type of seating nearby as well. Nights in October can be warm, but may also get a little chilly, too, so bring whatever the kids might need to make them comfy and enjoy!

Send more questions as you research your upcoming stay, Julie; I'd love to help you plan the perfect trip!
