Hi Andrea, one more question - which DVC resort is the closest (has the shortest bus ride) to Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon? We might do a waterpark only trip :) Thanks again!

    Hello, Jessica!

Glad you're back with more questions! :-)

There are several Disney Vacation Club resorts which are close to either Blizzard Beach Water Park or Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, so you'll have fun trying to decide which one will be right for you (they are all great!)

Take a look at this road map of Walt Disney Word, so that you can get a visual idea of the proximity of the resorts to the water parks. That might help you to decide, too!

Disney's Old Key West Resort is closest to Typhoon Lagoon, and is a favorite of many DVC Members because the rooms are so large. It's got a great pool, with a slide, and also has bus and boat access to Downtown Disney. Disney's Saratoga Spring Resort & Spa is also close Typhoon Lagoon, and is a truly luxurious resort. Movies under the stars, poolside, would be a great evening activity after a day at TL!

Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas are close to Blizzard Beach Water Park, and would also provide you and  your family with lots of activities after a day at the water park. You can't beat this access to the animals on the savannah, either; your kids will love it! Disney's  Beach Club Villas, as well as Disney's BoardWalk Villas are also relatively close to BB and have the added benefit of all of the activities of Stormalong Bay (great pool!) and the Boardwalk itself.

As you can see, you've got some tough choices to make, but it's a happy problem, right?

Send more questions about any of these properties, as I've stayed at each of them and would be happy to advise you about the special characteristics of any of them. I love to help!
