Hi Andrea- one more add-on question. Shall we add WaterParks (not for this trip but for future trips)? Tikes Peak at BlizzardBeach looks fun for our little ones. Do you think TyphoonLagoon is good for toddlers too? Which DVC resort is closest to BB/TL? Tks

    Hello, Jessica!

So glad to hear from you! :-)

Tike's Peak is absolutely fantastic for toddlers! In fact, on our first Blizzard Beach trip, we couldn't get our toddler OUT of there! In fact, our plan that first visit to BB had been to stay for a few hours, head back to our resort, nap, change and go to dinner in a park. Never happened. We got there at park open and stayed until park close...true story. Couldn't believe how much fun everyone was having, and there was plenty of shade for me to get the little one to lie down on a lounge chair with me and take a good, long nap!

Regarding which is closer to Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort? They are about the same distance away. Check out this link to Maps of Walt Disney World Resort. Once there, click on "view a road map of the Walt Disney World Resort area." There, you'll see that Typhoon Lagoon is near Downtown Disney, whereas Blizzard Beach is on the way to Disney's Animal Kingdom. While I haven't taken toddlers to Typhoon Lagoon, friends of mine swear by Ketchakiddee Creek.

In short? This is a win-win. You and your little ones will truly love either of these two water parks.

Once you've decided, let me know if you have any additional questions! I'd love to help! :-)
