Hi Andrea - I may need to take a cab vs the busses to get from Magic Kingdom to downtown Disney. If I do need to take a cab, where would I pick up a cab at MK? Are they in front of the park or would we need to go to a hotel or TTC first? Thanks!

    Hi, Leslie!

    You are correct!

Guests who would like to get a cab from Magic Kingdom may do so in several locations, including the Transportation / Ticketing Center as well as a nearby resort.

For the least amount of walking, however, I suggest that you hop onto the resort monorail from Magic Kingdom, then get off at the first stop, Disney's Contemporary Resort. Head down to the first floor lobby and ask a Cast Member to call a cab for you. We waited just a minute or two for our cab to arrive at Disney's Beach Club Resort, which was especially convenient because there were no other guests needing a taxi at that time.

Of course, you can head to TTC and catch a cab there as well, and there will be plenty of them waiting, too!

A third way to get to Downtown Disney might be to catch a bus from MK to Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. If walking is not an issue, there is a lovely, leisurely 10-minute stroll from the Congress Park section of SSR to DD. Simply ask the bus driver to remind you when you arrive at this last stop, Congress Park; once there, head toward the lake and turn left. You'll be at the Marketplace end of DD in no time (and the view is great!)

Hope this helps, Leslie! Send more questions as you think of them; we love to help!
