Hi Andrea! As a fellow Pennsylvanian you would know best for this question. I'm debating on going to Blizzard Beach the week of Nov 11-17. Will it be too cold in Florida or just right for swimming? As you know we already wearing our heavy jackets here!

    Hi, Charmaine!

I hear ya'! We've already gotten c-c-c-cold spurts here in PA, so the thought of swimming outdoors in November is unlikely (unless you're a bear!)

In Orlando, however, we've been able to swim during every month of the year...depending on the year. According to weather.com, the average high during the week of November 11th is around 78-79 degrees; however, the record high tops out at 90. As such, we tend to pack for every possibility, bringing bathing suits and coverups as well as jackets and long pants. During the shoulder seasons, you might even experience a little bit of the hot and the cold, too, so pack accordingly.

Keep in mind, too, that the pools at Blizzard Beach, as well as those at Walt Disney World Resorts are heated year-round. As such, any chill that falls at night or in the early mornings is easily countered by the warmth of the water. Bring that suit! :-)

Have a fantastic trip! Be sure to send more questions as you think of them; I'd love to help!
