Hi Andrea- We'll be at Disney from 6/16-6/22! I know it will be HOT and I am traveling with boys ages 2, 4. Any suggestions on tricks to beat the heat? We'll be staying at the All Star Movies Resort! Resturant adive with dining plus plan would be great

    Hello, Steve!

If you have to pick a summer month to head to Walt Disney World (like I always do) June is typically a little bit cooler that the others. But yes, it is still hot.

Don't let that keep your family from having fun, though! Pick up a water spray / fan bottle for each of your little princes. Each morning, fill them with as much ice as they can hold, then top them off with water. They'll have fun spraying each other (and you, too) and squirting the water into their mouths, which will keep them hydrated, too. Also pick up wide-mouthed refillable water bottles, one per person. (I found shoulder straps for these, too, so that each person has his or her own drink at all times.) Fill with ice and top with water as well at your resort, then refill with your icy cold beverage at meal time.  Strollers with a cover are a must. Spend your snack credits on cool treats such as Itzakadoozie or a classic Dole Whip. Be sure to visit the indoor, air-conditioned attractions every couple of hours, and space your dining out so that you'll be in the air for an hour or so at least twice each day.

Restaurant picks for families with little ones your boys' ages include:

MK: The Crystal Palace (TS); Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe (QS) Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe (QS); Chef
Mickey's (at the nearby Disney's Contemporary Resort)
EP: Teppan Edo (TS); Chefs de France (TS); Le Cellier Steakhouse (TS); Coral Reef Restaurant (TS); Sunshine
           Seasons (QS)
HS: Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano (TS); Pizza Planet (QS)
AK: Tusker House Restaurant (TS); Flame Tree Barbecue (QS); Restaurantosaurus (QS)
Downtown Disney: T-REX Cafe (TS); Wolfgang Puck Express (QS) Earl of Sandwich (QS)

Send another question and I'll give you more details about any of these! I love to help!
