Hi Andrea, My booking window coming up soon& just want to make sure I request the best possible Standard Studio location for our 1st Stay- beside ask to be close to breezeway, what else would you suggest-higher floor/even or odd # rooms...any tips? Tha

    Hello, Jessica!

Your window for booking your stay at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort IS around the corner! Great idea to book as soon as you are able to do so!

For your request for room location in a Standard View Studio, I think you have a great idea in requesting being close to the bank of elevators that are closest to the Sky Way Bridge on the 5th floor (this leads to the 4th floor of Disney's Contemporary Resort.)  This gives Guests easy access to amenities such as the monorail, restaurants and shops.  If you plan to walk to Magic Kingdom Park, however, you can also request to be located either more centrally, toward the lobby.  If you walk to MK, you'll head out the lobby, straight down the walkway and then slightly to the right (the Contemporary Tower, and the Sky Way Bridge, are to the left of Bay Lake Tower's lobby as you head toward Magic Kingdom.)  In 5-10 minutes, you'll be right at the front door of the Magic! (With the little ones in strollers, this is an easy, breezy walk. My then 8-year old could walk it in a leisurely 7 minutes. It's that close!)  Of course, we always ask for the highest floor available, simply for the view. It also never hurts to ask the Cast Member who is making your reservation for suggestions as well. After all, they book Magical Vacations dozens of times a day!

Good luck with your booking! Don't forget to send more questions as you think of them! We love to help!
