Andrea H, you answered a ? just a few days ago. We want to see the electric water parade, from the Poly. We will be doing the Spirit of Aloha show which timing would work best for dinner to still see it 5:15 or 8pm? We will be there 09/11-Tuesday, Thanks

    Hi, Chelsea!

You are in for such a treat that day of your trip to the Polynesian Resort!

If you have the option of either 5:15 or 8 p.m. for the Spirit of Aloha show, but would also like to view the Electric Water Pageant, I recommend that you attend the earlier of the two dinner show times.  On a typical evening, the Electric Water Pageant should be viewable at the Polynesian at around 9 p.m. (subject to change based on weather, Wishes and other factors, of course), so a 5:15 dining reservation will leave you plenty of time to enjoy your dinner show, gather an extra sweater (in case it's cool that night) and head to the beach to view the Pageant before the estimated 9:00 p.m. start time.

For my family, we always enjoy our evening plans most if we don't feel rushed, or that we've had to choose between one event and another, so allowing a little extra time here and there enables us to relax, which is exceptionally nice after a busy day in the parks. If the weather's nice, you'll be so glad you set aside a few hours for a very relaxing evening.

Enjoy the shows!  Send any additional questions you may have about your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World; I'd love to help!
