Hi Andi, My family and I are going on the Disney Cruise to Alaska in July. We have added the imbedded Adventures by Disney package. We are Castaway Club Member, being that this will be our fourth Disney Cruise. What is upgrade procedure? War Eagle!

    Hi, Melaney!

OK...first things first! We need to get a little "family business" out of the way, and other guests may not know what we're talking about. Yet, being from Alabama...we gotta talk a little football!

Congratulations to your Auburn Tigers for their National Championship!  Although I married an Alabama graduate and I'm loyal to where my bread comes from, I grew up near Auburn, and my daddy is an alumnus. I am so very proud that our state has two back-to-back Heisman winners and two back-to-back national champs -- we take football here very seriously!

Now, on to vacation planning! Congratulations on booking an Alaskan cruise aboard the Disney Wonder this summer. As Castaway Club members, you probably know that she's a beautiful ship, and the ports of call are adventurous and unique for a cruise experience.

I have called, researched and gone to all the sources at Disney Cruise Line. However, I don't see any benefits or tips as Castaway Club Members for an upgrade with the Adventures by Disney package. I may not understand you right, and you can certainly write back for clarification. Of course, as your fourth cruise, you are Silver Castaway Club members and are eligible to book onboard amenities and shore excursions up to 90 days prior to sailing. Plus, I always encourage Disney Cruise Line guests to inquire about upgrades once you check in at the port terminal. You may incur a fee, but it will be a savings from the stateroom category than if you had booked it originally. I hope I've helped you!

Come back any time! Have a wonderful Alabama day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
