Hi Andi! We are going to WDW in June. My oldest son will turn 10 while we are there. This is my baby girl's 1st trip (@ 14 mths). My middle child won't really be celebrating. Any tips on how we can make it important for him, he is 7. Thank you so much!

Hey, Joni! What a sweet mom you are to think of that precious middle child! The first thing that popped into my mind was to make sure that all three of your kids get a complimentary button: a "Happy Birthday" one for your oldest, a "First Trip" button for your baby and a "I'm Celebrating!" one for the big guy in the middle!  The front desk at your resort should have those, or you can pick them up at Guest Services or a Vacation Planning Booth at any of the parks.  As thoughtful as you are, I'm sure that you can come up with a milestone, accomplishment or triumph that he can celebrate....losing a tooth, making a good grade, or just being a big helper to Mom or Dad.

If you really want to make this trip extra special, you might want to Customize Your Celebration by planning a different surprise for each child and what he/she is celebrating.  You can be as elaborate as an in-room celebration to requesting a spur-of-the-moment cake be brought to your table at a table service meal.  The many ideas at the site are sure to get your creative juices flowing! The Disney Florist Dream Makers are amazing at customizing your specific requests and can even include items that you bring or ship from home! Keep their phone number in your planning notes in case you need to contact them while you're at WDW...407/827-3505. Thanks for contacting me at the Disney Moms Panel, and I hope you have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
