Hi Andi! Thx for your previous answer. One more question. I found an inexpensive flight which lands at MCO at 12:15am the day of sailing. Do i need to retrieve my own luggage at that hr or will the Cruise line do it for us? I know its early. Thx

    Hi, Leigh!

Oh, you're certainly welcome -- that's what I am here for! I certainly understand scoping out all the options for family travel...especially when it comes to saving a few dollars!

Since you are arriving after 10 p.m. and before 5 a.m., you will need to retrieve your luggage from baggage claim. If you are taking a Disney ground transfer to Port Canaveral, there should be a Cast Member at the Welcome Center. However, there probably won't be a motorcoach available to the port that time of night.

I suggest looking into booking a room at the Hyatt Regency at the airport for catching a few winks before you take the first transfer (around 9:45-10 a.m.). Or, you can rent a car or take a cab or car service to Port Canaveral to stay at a nearby hotel -- some even offer free transfers to the port the next morning.

Remember, the earlier you check in at the port, the earlier you get to board! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
