Hi Andi! Thank you for all the great advice! I'm planning a trip for wk after Thanksgiving-is it feasible to see the 6pm tree lighting at Epcot then go to MK for the 8pm parade? Worried we won't get there early enough for a good viewing spot.

Hi, Sabrina! I think you'll be able to do both of those events. Let's say that you're there for the tree lighting ceremony at Epcot and find your spot by 5:45 p.m. The event only lasts about 10 minutes...so you'll probably be walking toward the gate by 6:15 p.m. at the latest. Assuming you don't have your own car, you'll head straight for the monorail and switch at the Ticket & Transportation Center for a monorail to the Magic Kingdom. Since the park is not closing at that time and that time of year is traditionally not incredibly crowded, your entire commute should take approximately 30 minutes -- putting you at the MK before 7 p.m. This should give you plenty of time to find a good viewing spot and send someone else from your traveling party scouting around for a good snack!

Oh, and you are certainly welcome for the advice...you made me blush! By the way, our high school band is supposed to be there sometime that week for the parade. Make sure you cheer extra loud for the Patriots! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
