Andi THANK U for answering my previous ?s:) I am starting to regret not sailing on new DREAM, we r doing 7 night caribean on MAGIC, but every time I go online to research, the DREAM ship seems much more fun? Is MAgic getting old? not as much to offer? TY

    Hi, Patti!

You are so welcome for answering your Disney Cruise Line (DCL) questions...that's what I'm here for! Please, please, please don't second guess booking your Caribbean itinerary aboard the beautiful Disney Magic. Truly, she is a magnificent, opulent ship which has been cared for and updated to rival her younger sister. Her cast and crew are in the business of pampering guests, and there is so much to do and see on board which will make you and yours never want to disembark.

Just like Walt Disney World experiences with new resorts, DCL is presently showcasing the newest addition to their fleet -- so their attempts at making you want to sail on the Disney Dream are working!? Yet, don't let it overshadow the magnificent vacation you have planned for your family.

I have sailed on the Disney Dream twice, and although I personally feel that everyone must experience that ship, it doesn't suppress my desire to sail on the other two DCL ships in the least. I feel that the two original ships -- the Disney Magic and the Disney Wonder -- offer more intimacy especially for a longer voyage. Plus, there won't be as many guests on Castaway Cay when you stop there!

My solution to your dilemma is to look into booking a future cruise on the Disney Dream (or the new Disney Fantasy next year) when you're sailing on the Disney Magic! You usually can save as much as 10 percent off future cruises -- and possibly receive a shipboard credit, too. I hope that helps get you excited about your DCL vacation aboard the Disney Magic!

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
