Hi Andi, How many suitcases are you allowed to bring on the ship with you? It will be a two week driving vacation for us and we have alot of luggage. Thanks

    Hi, William!

I completely understand the packing dilemma -- we took a 10-day vacation with six people once and looked like we were moving!

On Disney Cruise Line ships, each guest is allowed two suitcases with one carry-on bag (which can not exceed 22" wide, 14" high and 9" deep). I know that may not seem like a lot of space for a 2-week vacation. However, many clothes you bring for a Disney cruise can do "double duty."  For instance, my husband and boys usually wear the same pair of khaki pants to dinner each night.  I bring along pocket-sized laundry detergent or stain removal for sink washouts, or there is guest laundry in case you need to do an entire load. Plus, you can always send something out to be laundered (for a fee).

Remember...careful planning means a carefree vacation! My husband and teen son are the ones who always get stuck with packing the car which puts them in such a foul mood if we over pack. Plus, you know that your stuff never seems to go back into the suitcases the same way after your vacation -- it expands somehow.  Best wishes as you try to squeeze it all in!

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
