Hi Andi! I'm assisting a fellow cruiser that I met on a recent Disney Dream cruise... she is wondering if there is anywhere to purchase the red blanket that is on the beds? She did look in the cruise stores with no luck. Any suggestions? Love your forum!

    Hi, Heidi!

Well, look at you being the helpful fellow Castaway Club Member! Thanks for visiting me here and for the compliment.  All of the Disney Moms Panelists love answering questions for guests, and my favorites are Mickey's sea-faring ones!

Any decor in the staterooms of Disney Cruise ships is not presently available for sale (gift shops on board or online). There are Disney Cruise Line (DCL) blankets for sale on the DisneyStore.com site, but they are not the same as those soft, plush red ones draped across the bottom of the bed. After visiting Disney parks, resorts and destinations for more than 30 years, I have noticed in the last several years the ability to purchase resort room decor.  There are sometimes catalogs and order forms on the desk in the deluxe resort rooms where we've stayed.

Here's hoping that DCL gets the hint, too, and starts making that cozy red blanket available for sale -- as well as that red pillow with "...a dream is a wish your heart makes" embroidered on it.  I've had my eye on that little guy, too!

Thanks again for stopping by to ask a question, and I hope that your day is wonderful and that your next Disney cruise is very soon!

    Bon voyage,

    Andi
