Hi Andi, We Are going on our first disney cruise to mexico in feb 2012. I know you were planning this same vacation for your family. How long does it take to get off the ship on the last day -we have a flight leaving lax at 12:25pm. i hope you can help me

    Hi, Katherine!

Yay, your first Disney cruise!!!! You are going to love sailing on the Disney Wonder to the Mexican Riviera. I relished in experiencing those warm and colorful ports of call while everyone at home was starting to feel the bite of winter.

On debarkation day, we had a flight out of LAX around the same time as yours, but we had to be diligent about making our plans for the return home.  First of all, we made sure Guest Services was aware of our flight schedule, and we received luggage tags which got our bags (and us) off the ship first. (Our tags were "Ariel" luggage tags.) We grabbed a quick bite from Beach Blanket Buffet and were ready in the atrium lobby by 7:30 a.m. We also secured private transportation to LAX in order to avoid multiple stops at other airlines. We were at the airport in time to grab a snack before boarding.

I hope this helps, and please let me know if you think of other questions for me. I'd be happy to assist you. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
