Hello Andi. Your advice has helped me a lot with my WDW planning. We are coming in 27 days and have just become interested in La Nouba. I was wondering what your thoughts are on this. We have an 8 year old and 16 year old. O.K. for both? Thank you

Hi, Lindsey! La Nouba is a high-energy, jaw-dropping performance combining the amazing artistic and athletic marvels of Cirque du Soleil. La Nouba is exclusive to WDW's Downtown Disney and is permanently housed there. The tickets are expensive -- ranging in price from $54-120 per person for a 90-minute performance with no intermission -- but well worth it!

I usually don't recommend La Nouba for guests with children under the age of five. For your children, I would highly recommend it since they not only will enjoy it, but they may remember and reflect on it for years to come! Who knows...it may even inspire them to join the circus...which, as parents, we may not mind for this particular circus! :)

Take a look at the two hyperlinks I connected above in the text of this message and have your kids get to know the "characters," and you may even consider ordering the CD. The music may seem a little strange to you at first if you've never seen any other performances of Cirque du Soleil. Yet, the familiarity will only serve to enhance your experience. I won't give it away, but it will blow your mind from where the musicians perform!

Also, remember to make plans to spend the evening at Downtown Disney by timing a dinner reservation around your La Nouba tickets. There are many great choices in the area including the House of Blues which is only steps away from the La Nouba box office.

I am so glad that I have been helpful to you! I always say that the next best thing to experiencing a Disney vacation is planning one...and I'm happy to help you plan yours. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
