Hi Kyle! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney and bringing us your question about an upcoming trip to Anaheim.
While tickets are being sold in person at the Main Entrance ticket booths, there are no tickets reserved for ticket booth sales. So if reservations are completely booked for that day, tickets can be sold, but you would not be able to get reservations for the day to enter the parks.
I know this is not the news you wish to hear and I wish I had the pixie dust to grant this all to work out for a trip turned family vacation for you. April is a very busy month at Disneyland Resort and on most days the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar shows that reservations are booked. I will say that the calendar is fluid, so as Guests cancel their plans there may be availability that pops up, but it will most likely go away just as fast. I recommend keeping your eye on the calendar and checking quite often.
If your time and budget allow, you may wish to bring your family along and see if any last-minute reservations pop up the day or two before. If not, there are lots of fun things to do at Disneyland Resort. The
Downtown Disney District boasts lots of great shopping and restaurant options. There are even quite a few great dining spots within the Disneyland Resort Hotels, my favorites are the
GCH Bar or Grill at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and
Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar at Disneyland Hotel. If it's a night that has fireworks entertainment, you can find a spot in the Esplanade and enjoy the music and firework display.
Kyle, thanks again for stopping by with your question and I'm sending you all the Disney magic that reservations become available so that you and your family can enjoy Disneyland Resort.
