Going to be in Anaheim for granddaughters national cheer championship in April. Will have limited time on Sunday and all day Monday to visit parks. How should we spend our time.

    Hello Kate!

First a BIG congratulations on your Granddaughter’s National Cheer Championship! Wishing her all the luck when she competes! As for how to spend your time in the parks, there are many ways and many opinions. I want to share with you some of my favorite attractions and hopefully it will inspire some ideas for your visit.

When I only have a limited time to spend at Disneyland Resort, I go into Disneyland Park and hit up my three favorite attractions. Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion and Star Tours – The Adventures Continue. Star Tours utilizes Disney’s FASTPASS service as well.

For a full day in the parks I love using the Park Hopper option. I get to Disney California Adventure Park when it opens and head straight over to the FASTPASS kiosks for Radiator Springs Racers. After that it’s over to Toy Story’s Midway Mania and The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel's Undersea Adventure. When we are done with all the rides we can handle we hop back over to Disneyland Park to watch the fireworks at night over Sleeping Beauty’s Castle.

That’s just a small snapshot of our time in the parks. No matter what we do, it’s always magical! I hope this helps and let me know if you have any more questions as you plan your visit!

    See you real soon!
