Hi, Ana! I was wondering what steps I need to take for getting a DAS pass for my upcoming trip? Thank you!

Hiya, Taylor! Welcome to my very own happy corner of planDisney, and thank you so much for coming to me with your question!

You definitely came to the right person, because I have a ton of experience with this specific topic. I've been a Disability Access Service (DAS) user for a little over three years now, and it has truly been a lifesaver!

Taylor, I'm happy to report that it's actually super easy to register for the DAS. In fact, you have two options to choose from! If you'd like to get it done before your trip, you will need to pre-register via a live video chat with a Cast Member. You can do this anywhere between two to 30 days in advance of your trip, so you still have a little while to go. During this pre-registration chat, the Cast Member you talk to will help you book two DAS selections for any attractions or experiences of your choice, and they will also show you how to book your next selections on your own!

Your second option would be to wait until you're at the Walt Disney World Resort, which is exactly what I did! If you decide to do this, you will need to visit any Guest Relations location throughout the Resort and speak to a Cast Member in person. You can do this at City Hall in Magic Kingdom Park and the Guest Relations Lobbies at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT.

Honestly, both options will work just fine, but I would definitely take advantage of the pre-registration live chat if I were you! Nothing beats being able to walk straight into your favorite attractions at the Walt Disney World Resort, right? Just as a tip, I recommend that you make your next DAS selection as soon as you've scanned your park ticket, MagicBand, or MagicBand+ at the entrance of each attraction. This way, you'll take full advantage of the DAS... especially if you decide to pair it with the Disney Genie+ Service.

Thanks again for stopping by to say hello, Taylor. If you have any other questions about the DAS or anything else, please don't hesitate to reach back out to me! I'm always happy to talk to my friends about the Most Magical Place on Earth.

    See you real soon!
