Hi Amy....If we get to A of A suites early, you said we can go ahead and check in and then go eat lunch. If we get there even earlier (looks like that may happen) can we eat breakfast? Just not sure when the DD plan actually goes into effect. Thanks

    Hi JoAnn,

Sounds like you and your group are going to be early birds! Your Disney Dining credits will be available to you for use after you check in to the resort. The Disney Dining plans are based on nights. I'm not sure which dining plan your group has purchased. To explain the way the dining credits work, let's say a Guest has purchased the Deluxe Dining plan which provides for three meal credits per night. This Guest is staying for four nights. The Guest checks in around noon. The Guest will have 12 meal credits. If the Guest uses the credits for lunch and dinner on the day they check in, they will only have one credit left for the day they check out. Guests usually check out early, so it wouldn't be a problem to only have a breakfast credit on the last day.

You might want to look at your dining plans to see if you can afford to use a credit for breakfast. I think breakfast is also the meal most people will pay cash for to save a credit for later! If you'd like to share which plan you have purchased, I would be happy to help you work it out.

I hope I've made it a little clearer for you. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions!
Wishing you a magical and memorable vacation,
    Amy H.
