I amplanning my first trip to Disney with two children, we are planning on staying at the Coronado. what is your opinion of this place and I am trying to figuire out where to start? Can you help?

    Hi there Jami!

I had an opportunity to stay at the Coronado Springs Resort this past December and was very impressed.  This was my first visit to the property, and I would absolutely recommend it to a guest considering one of Disney's moderate resorts.  My newly refurbished room had deep, dark wood furniture, great amenities, a super comfy bed and ample storage space.  The resort is themed in American-Southwest fashion, and surrounds a huge lake.  I really enjoyed taking a stroll around the lake with my morning coffee before my kids starting begging to head to the parks!  My boys loved the pools at the Coronado, especially the archaeologically-themed "Dig Site".  I had a tough time getting them out of the water and ready for dinner!  Speaking of food, I was very impressed by the offerings at the Coronado.  The Pepper Market is a wonderful food court with a huge variety of options.  Rix Lounge is a great spot for grabbing a quick bite on your way to the parks, and Maya Grille is a fabulous, table-service restaurant, with great steaks, chicken, fish and a yummy seafood risotto!

    Have a wonderful trip!
