Hi moms (&dads)! WL, Poly, GF or another resort? Have never been during Christmas, which resort is best for decorations? Proximity to parks not important. Will be there in Sept-Oct & again in Dec. Thanks!

Oh boy Jeannie! Resorts are one of my favorite all-things-Disney topics! I love comparing and contrasting the variety of onsite amenities, the overall theme of each location and the unique features, many of which you can't find anywhere else in the world!

One of the best ways to research your options and make a resort decision that meets your family's needs is to peruse the many unofficial websites available online. You'll find so many passionate people dedicated to posting photos/ maps as well as reviews that provide such a wonderful inside scoop. This will help you can narrow down your choices quickly and is so much more fun than my just providing you with a top 5 list of my favorites.

Some Disney resort fan sites include:

    1. Polynesian Resort: www.tikimanpages.com/tiki
    2. Grand Floridian: www.wherethemagiclives.com
    3. Wilderness Lodge: www.wildernesslodgesite.com
    4. Animal Kingdom Lodge: www.aklresort.com
    5. Contemporary Resort and Bay Lake Tower: www.disneycontemporary.com

Wishing you plenty of pixie dust during your Walt Disney World vacations this Fall and Winter! Please feel free to send more questions my way prior to either of your trips!
