Does the amount of the placeholder come of bill along with the 10%

    Hi there, Jennifer,

I'm glad you came to discuss one of my favorite things: booking another Disney cruise! Whenever my family and I take a Disney cruise, we almost always book a placeholder cruise to help save on our next Disney cruise. It's a wonderful way to save on one of our favorite ways to enjoy a holiday together as a family.

Here's how paying for a Disney Cruise Line cruise vacation works when you book with a placeholder:

    1. During a Disney cruise, access the onboard offer for savings on a future cruise through the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app and make your payment for the placeholder.
    2. After you disembark your cruise, select from an eligible cruise that sails within 24 months of when you made the placeholder booking. Then, call the Disney Cruise Line Contact Center, visit My Reservations, or reach out to your travel advisor to convert your placeholder to a confirmed booking.
    3. Having booked a placeholder will save you as much as 10% on the fares for each passenger in the stateroom of your confirmed booking. Taxes, fees, and other port charges are not included in the calculation of the savings.
    4. The amount you originally paid for your placeholder booking will be applied toward the required deposit of your confirmed booking. If any additional payment is required to complete your deposit amount, you will pay that much extra at the time you create the confirmed booking. If your total deposit amount happens to be less than the amount you paid for the placeholder booking, the remaining balance of your cruise fare will simply be reduced by that amount extra.
    5. At the time of final payment for your confirmed cruise, enjoy the savings made possible by taking advantage of the onboard offer!

I'm really looking forward to the Very Merrytime cruise sailing soon that my family originally booked as a placeholder from the onboard offer. You can be sure we'll also book another placeholder while we're still on board that cruise as well!

I hope you have a magical cruise, Jennifer!
