I amn going to Disney May 4-11. Is using a grocery delivery service worth it?

    Hi Amy:

For my family, grocery delivery service is worth it when we plan to eat several meals in our rooms.  The convenience factor is too hard to pass up.  However, on trips where we book most of our meals at Disney World restuarants, and only plan to grab one or two light meals or snacks in our room, we find that the mini-convenice store at the Resort tend to be sufficient.

We never find that taking time out of our vacation to drive or take a taxi to an off-property grocery store is worth it for our family. We love Disney World too much, and the thought of  grocery shopping and standing in a checkout line at a supermaket while on vacation at Disney World to be off-putting.

    Enjoy your vacation.
