    What are the amenities in the park hotel rooms? Do hotel guests have access to a microwave? Is there an in room mini fridge?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for bringing these questions to us!

    Amenities vary from resort to resort at the Walt Disney World Resort. I would first suggest that you decide on a Resort Hotel category. Deluxe and Deluxe Villa hotels are my favorite. When we stayed at Saratoga Spring Resort & Spa, we had a full kitchen in our two-bedroom, two-bath villa. Since the villa included a microwave and a full-sized refrigerator, we heated our breakfast up in the mornings and were able to refrigerate leftovers from dinner.

    We have also benefited from having a mini-fridge at Disney's Port Orleans - French Quarter, Caribbean Beach Resort, Contemporary Resort, Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and Animal Kingdom Lodge. Microwaves are more limited in availability. Although Disney's Contemporary Resort is a Deluxe Resort, the Garden View rooms do not have a microwave. We found a microwave in the food court to re-heat our food. 

    Here is my tip - when you visit the Walt Disney World Resort site, click on a resort, then click on "Room Rates." To see the room amenities, look on the left-hand side of the web page and you will see a link for "Featured Room" and/or "Standard Room." Underneath the room type, you should see a link to view "Amenities."
