    What amenities will be open at the Polynesian in October? Specifically, will the main pool and splash pad be open in Oct? And, will there be boat transportation to MK in Oct?

    Hi there Debra, and welcome to planDisney! I’m so happy to chat with you about your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World this fall. Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is an amazing tropical escape that is beloved by so many! However, only some Resort Hotels are operational at this time during the phased reopening of the Disney Parks. You can find a full list of Resorts currently open on the “Know Before You Go” Resorts page. As you will see there, Walt Disney World just announced that Disney's Polynesian Village Resort would remain closed until at least Summer 2021. 

    With that in mind, I encourage you to look at the many other Resorts that are available for booking! If you’d like to remain on the Resort Monorail line, I would like to recommend Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Contemporary Resort, and Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. All of these locations offer easy access to Magic Kingdom Park via Monorail, and further details of transportation availability form these and all Resort Hotels can be accessed by clicking on the Resort of your choice from the list on the website! The pages also outline which amenities are available at each Resort, specifically pools, and discuss the newest safety precautions in place on Disney property. You may also continue to check these web pages for any updates as they become available!
