What amenities are included in a 1 bedroom garden wing suite at the Contemporary? Fridge? Full kitchen? Mini bar?

    Hi again, Lisa!

I just answered your other question about Disney's Contemporary Resort so I thought I'd keep going with this one too! Since this is your first time staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, and that your husband booked this as a surprise for a stay that is happening so soon, I completely relate to what you must be feeling right now. (I'm a #resEARcher, too.)

This main difference between this specific suite and a standard guest room at all Deluxe Disney Resort Hotels is the size. While the in-room amenities are the same (mini-fridge, deluxe toiletries, Keurig), this room is so big that it has two full size bathrooms, two couches, and two separate entrances from the hallway. In fact, its separate bedroom + bathroom space is almost the same size as a guest room at a Disney Value or Moderate Resort Hotel. Disney Guest Rooms do not feature mini or honor bars, nor do standard rooms or suites have full kitchens. This room does have a lot of windows, plus it includes all of the benefits of staying at Disney's Contemporary Resort, like being within walking distance of Magic Kingdom Park, direct monorail access, and the proximity to many highly desired dining options in the main A-frame building.

This is a popular time of year, so there may not be many options available to switch to, but do call the Disney Resort Hotel Reservation line at (407) 939-1936 to double check. I think you'd be happy with a standard room at any Disney Deluxe Resort Hotel. If you're looking for more of a 'wow factor', ask if any Theme Park Views are available, or a Savanna View at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge where you can watch African animals from your balcony. Also ask if any non-suite Club Level rooms are available as these include light meals, evening drinks and nightly desserts.

I hope this helped, Lisa, and please don't hesitate to ask us any more questions you may have!
